Bill Conti Big Band Arranging & Composing Competition

Submission due date: September 1st 2020 -- Awarded October, 2020
Age limit: 35
Awards: 1st place - $1,000 • 2nd place - $300 • 3rd place - $200

To apply, you must be a current student, studying arranging and music composition in a music school, college, conservatory, university or privately.
You MUST be a student member of ASMAC.
Complete the 3-part BILL CONTI application package and submit no later than September 1st 2020 with:
1) A short arrangement of an original or standard for any ensemble
2) Attach score and demo.
3) A copy of your student identification card.
4) Statement of career goals and aspirations.
5) A letter of recommendation from a music professional

Irwin Kostal Scholarship for Orchestration

Submission due date: September 1, 2020 Awarded: October 2020
Age limit: 29
Awards: 1st place - $1,000 • 2nd place - $300 • 3rd place - $200

To apply, you must be a current student, studying arranging and music composition in a music school, college,
conservatory, university or privately. You do NOT need to be a student member of ASMAC.
Complete the Scholarship General Application and submit it no later than September 1, 2020 with:
1) A short arrangement of an original or standard. This may be written for any instrumentation.
Your submission must be in the form of a musical score (concert or transposed).
In addition, we encourage you to attach a recording or demo of your submission as well.
2) A copy of your student identification card.
3) Statement of career goals and aspirations.
4) A letter of recommendation from a music professional

Award: 1 year free attendance to ASMAC Master Classes (on-line or in person)
Age Limit: 25 Deadline for submission - September 1 Awarded – September 2020
